Sapio Installs Solar Panels Across Entire Roof at York Facility

York, PA – February 24, 2018 – Kevin Cramer, CEO of Sapio Sciences has announced the installations of ~15KW solar array on the roof of Sapio’s York, Pennsylvania facility. As an incentive for employees to adopt electric vehicles, Sapio has also installed two Level 2 chargers in its parking facility that employees can freely use to charge their vehicles. Several employees are already taking advantage of this free service.

According to Kevin Cramer, CEO, “Sapio wants to lead not only on the technology front, but also as a company focused on being a good steward of the environment. Given our heavy usage of technology, we consume a decent amount of power on any given day and the installation of these panels will allow us to offset our usage with the energy that the sun casts down on us each day. We have also invested in LED lighting throughout the main portions of our building to reduce our consumption footprint. I also look forward to more employees adopting electric vehicles in the future and taking advantage of our free chargers.”
